By the time I arrived Amman, it is 5:30pm, which is the time they break the fast for Ramadan.  Everyone would go home, pray, and eat, drink, smoke for the first time of the day.  All the stores are closed, there is only one or two people walking in the street.  The town is empty!

I check into the Farah Hotel, drop down my gear and lay down in bed.  Um, a good sleep in bed is what I need right now after a night sleeping in the desert.

8:15pm, I woke up from the nap, so did the city!  It is totally different than the one I just saw couple hours ago.  Streets are filled with people, all shops are opened, restaurants and coffee shops are packed with youngsters, taxis are everywhere, where did all these come from?  It is one hugh shopping town!  And I just realized, I am the only foreigner in the crowd of thousands, where are the tourists?

There is a black and white TV in the room.  Local news is on by the time I get back.  I am not sure what they are talking about, but from the video, I can see that there are still conflict in Israel.  Should I go in or not?
