After 13 hours on the train, I arrived at Aswan. Luckily it is a night train, and I sleep pretty much all the way,so I didn't feel too tired. Wow, what beautiful weather. I can't believe I can still wear a T-shirt in mid-December.

Aswan... I can see its beauty just through its name! And indeed, it is more beautiful than what I could ever imagine. The blue Nile flows through the golden desert. The breeze blows from the other side of the sand dune. Umm, I have felt so relaxed in a long time.

The sun is setting behind the Nile, it radiates its reddish-orange light beam onto the golden desert and creates such a colorful scene!

Tomorrow I will travel to Abu Simbul to see the sun rise there, a temple that was build by Ramse II, then I will sail down the Nile for two nights and three days, camping somewhere in the desert during that time.
