Paradise! That is the only word I can use to describe
what I am experiencing right now. Along with six other solo travelers, and two Nubian captains, the nine of us start to sail down the Nile in a tiny felucca (sailboat).

So quiet, so peaceful. All I can hear is the water brushing very lightly against the felucca, birds singing in the sky, and a light wind blowing across us!

The Nile smells so fres. The sky is so blue, where are the clouds? I don't see any of them for miles. Green plantations grow along both side of the river, yet I can lift my eyes and there are miles and miles of golden desert. Once a while a sea bird would land on the boat to visit us.

For the first time, we are totally disconnected from our modern world. There is no engine sound, no horn, no noise, no TV, no cellphone, no internet......, all we have is, nature! With the wind, the singing of the bird, the wave... for the very first time, I experienced what a beautiful symphony that nature is composing. And for the very first time, I wonder why did we invent machine...

Is this paradise? Must be. The comfort from the breeze, the warmth from the sun, the beauty of the Nile, clear everything from my mind.... All I have at this moment is... Peace and Joy. perhaps, this is what all of us are looking for.

The nine of us all lost ourselves in this magnificent moment! We are all in our own little paradise!
