Sailing on the Nile

5:15pm

The sun is setting behind the mountain, it is a totally different view at the Nile, color starts to change in the sky, so many layer of them, white at the top, then yellow, then orange, then purple, then blue, then dark blue.....  Mountain and plantation around us turn into red pink! Where can we find an artist whom can paint something like this?  It is so simple, but yet, so beautiful!

9:34pm

It has been a wonderful day sailing down the Nile.  We have to camp for the night.  The falucca is park at the beach, we just finished our meal that was cooked on the boat.  There is nothing fancy about it, very simple, just potato, and rice, but it is yet so good.

The guys are making a fire on the beach, I should join them later on.  The Nile has turn totally dark, full moon is hanging above us, so many stars up in the sky. I can find the big dipper and some other stars.  Hey, there is the Belt of Orion.  They are so familiar to me.  For so many nights I watched the sky and the stars in front of my little home at College Park, now, I am watching the same sky, the same stars on the Nile!  How amazing!
