It is a smooth
ride flying into Istanbul. I think we are the first
flight into the airport this early in the morning. Getting
through custom is very easy, just walk up to the window and
pay the costly visa fee, US$45. The airport is quite
morden compare to the others that I have been to.
It
is indeed a very unique experience when having 64 million
dollors in my hand! That isn't much, only US100, but
I just can't stop smiling thinking that I am at least a "Millionaire
in Turkish Lira".
.
I am not sure where
to stay, so I just pick a hostel from the Lonely Planet guide
book and
pointed the map to the taxi driver. He doesn't speak
English at all, but luckily he recognized where I wanted to
go. Thirty minutes later, I am right in front of the
Sultan Hotel.
Staffs are very
friendly here, in no time I checked into a room with eight
bunkbeds. At the time, there are only two Korean sisters.
We exchanged our greeding briefly, then pick the bed next
to the window, drop my bag... I am in another country again.
Rain starts to fall, I covered myself with a blanket, listening
to the rain hitting hard on the glass window, wondering
what time it is back home and what are my friends and brothers
are doing... soon, I felt into sleep.
