Jordan Israel Turkey Egypt

Marry Christmas!  It is a rainny, cold Christmas morning, but yet, it is one of the most special Chirstmas for me.  Other than the Pyramid in Egypt, another important reason I take this trip is to spend the Christmans in the Hold Land for the Millennium.

Again, with the three UN soliders, I set foot in the Old City of Jerusalem.  Am I not stepping back in time?  Everything is so ancient, the city walls, the streets, the buildings, even the stepping stones in the street, they are all described in the Bible.  The UN soliders shared with me a lot of stories from the Bible, and each site that we go to, they can tell me how the site is related to the Bible.

I really have to thank the media for broadcasting the siutation in Isreal to the rest of the world, tourist has dropped dramatically!  And hence, I can spend as much time as I want in these sites to myself!  The Tomb of David, the Mt. Zion, the Holy Scrupture... they used to hold thousands of visitors during Christmans time.

I have been communicating with my brothers via email ever since I left the States, but it is my first time to call home.  It is a very nice feeling to hear the voices of the love ones, and to my surprise, I can't believe how cheap it is to call the US from here..  I talked to my brothers for about 30 min, and only cost 13NIS (US$3.5).
