Fred (an Australian I met in the Sun hotel) and I visited the Khan al-Khalilii, the biggest market in Cairo.  For the first time in my life, I have seen so many people squeezed together!  This is their life, this is their town, and this is how they shop.

Train Ticket from Luxor to Aswan

They told me that there are 21 millions people live in Cairo, seems to me that most of these residents are here in Khan al-Khalili.  We were pushed by the crowd from one side of the street to another..., it was certainly an experience that I couldn't forget!  Wow, that was another major accomplishment to survived this crowd.

I am leaving Cairo tonight, only been here for two days and I think I had enough about the nosy and pollution...  I am heading south to Aswan, the most southern town of Egypt.  According to other travelers, it should be nice there.  The train leaves at 10pm tonight, I will get there some where around 10am tomorrow morning.

Today's Tips:
* Try some Koshery from the local restaurants.
* The Metro is a very convenient and cheap way to travel around.  From Midan Tahrir to Ramses Train Station only costs LE0.25.  But look after your valuables!
* If you get lost, ask the polices instead of the locals.  Most of the polices know enough English to get you the right direction.

Today's Expenses: (US$1 = LE3.75): LE72 ~ US19
* Train ticket LE46
* Room LE15
* Food & Water LE11
