Another beautiful afternoon in Aswan. I am back on the Nile river, getting away from the crowd, and enjoying the warmth from the sun and the comfort from the wind..

Life has so much to offer once we step out of our little environment. Our society hems us into a comfort zone, but yet, only by taking challenges can we see things that we can't see otherwise. Am I not a new born baby when I stepped into this strange land? Everything is so new, so interesting. The things that I used to take it as granted back home become a challenge to me, i.e., finding the right bus, using the telephone, buying a train ticket, getting food...

It is only by doing things or traveling on my own, that I can really find out who I am, and how will can I take the challenges that life throws at me everyday.

Tomorrow, I will be sailing down the Nile for two days and two nights on a felucca. This is the joy of backpacking, I am so free to travel from one place to another. There is so much to see, so much to experience, and so much to look forward to every day...

Today's Tips:
* There are quite a few good captains if you want to do the felucca trip down the Nile to Luxor.  I used the "Jamaican Family".  It is well know in town.  Cost LE60 for two days and two nights including foods.
* It is very nice to walk along the Nile, but you will be constantly harassed to take a felucca trip.  Just ignored them by walking away.

Today's Expenses (US$1 = LE3.75): LE25 ~ US7
* Internet LE10
* Food & Water LE15
* Beer LE10
