It is a day of traveling on buses.  I am not sure if the six hours round trip to Pamukkale is really worth it, since it only took me 30 minutes to experience the entire place.  However, it is certainly an interesting experience trying to get to the right place by bus.

Here I am, sitting on the floor of this bus station in the middle of no way, waiting for the 9:00pm bus going back to Selcuk.  I have to say that people here is far more helpful and friendly than I expected.  Perhaps I have been on the road for too long, I know I constantly put on a guard over protecting myself.  That really prevents me from getting to know the people around me, yet, that is part of survival.

I am amazed that some of the locals here even speak Cantonese (a Chinese dialog spoken in Hong Kong and southern part of China)!!!  Even though they couldn't speak fluently, but that has already impressed me very much.

Today's Tips:
* Direct bus from Selcuk to Pamukkale last for about 2.5 hours.  Once get to Pamukkale, you need to take another minibus to get to the site.
* If you leave Pamukkale after 5pm, there is not direct bus back to Selcuk, you have to take the bus to Ortaklar, there pick up the 9pm bus back to Selcuk.
* You will run into a lot of young boys trying to shine your shoes, I gave them some candies and ball point pens to get rid of them.

Today's Expenses: (US$1 = TL660,000): TL12M ~ US18

* Bus to Ortaklar: TL2.3M
