They said the tapkapi palace is a must see in Istanbul, yet, after visiting it, it is not as impressive as it sounded. However, it does have some interesting views over the Golden Horn.

Rain starts to fall.  After spending most of the morning in the Takapi Palace, I buried myself in my bunk bed, this rain really puts me to sleep.  What a relaxing afternoon.

I am not sure what is it, but I just don't want to stay in Istanbul any longer.  Perhaps I have seen enough of big cities...

Here I am, onboard an over night bus to Cappadocia.  The bus is much more comfortable than most of the long distance buses I have ever taken.  The amazing thing is, there is "bus attendant" who serve water and snack onboard.  To the locals, I think riding a long distance bus is more like we flying back home.

Today's Tips:
* Takapi Palace is very easy to walk to.  Again, prepare for the attack from the sales person.
* There are various restaurants and shops along Divan Yolu, very good place for dinner in Istanbul
* Even though you can travel to Cappadocia on your own, but the better deal would be to just purchase a package from your hostel.  It would cost around US100

That includes Bus to Cappadocia ~US20,
two nights of hotel including breakfast ~10,
two days of tour bus and guide ~US40,
two lunches ~ US10,
and a bus ticket to where ever you want to go

Today's Expenses: (US$1 = TL660,000): 9M ~ US13.6
* Takapi Palace: TL4M
* Lunch: TL0.5M
* Dinner: TL2M
* The Harem: TL2.25M
* Water: TL0.25ML
